Sometimes all it takes is one second
So excited my Spring 2017 box from FabFitFun arrived yesterday! Some of my favorites so far:

Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Basil Hand Soap and Hand Lotion smells heavenly, like a little dose of aroma therapy. Bright, fresh scents straight from the garden. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overpowering but instead a scent I now love. Tough on dirt and grime, gentle on my skin.
Smells so good my kids are now washing their hands more, and that's great. I definitely recommend. This post was sponsored by Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day as a part of a new product sampling activation for Crowdtap. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review. All review comments are my own. Check out this post on Influenster.com for this handy wine and Easter candy pairing. I'm so excited to try a few of these. C'mon.. you know you want to know what wine pairs perfectly with those pink-a-licious peeps!
https://www.influenster.com/article/easter-candy-and-wine-pairings With her fortieth birthday approaching, Lucy Carpenter dares to hope that she finally has it all: a wonderful new husband, Jonah, a successful career and the chance of a precious baby of her own. Life couldn’t be more perfect. But the reality of becoming parents proves much harder than Lucy and Jonah imagined. Jonah’s love and support is unquestioning, but as Lucy struggles with work and her own failing dreams, the strain on their marriage increases. Suddenly it feels like Lucy is close to losing everything… Heart-wrenching and poignant, this latest work by bestselling author Amanda Prowse asks the question: what does it mean to be a mother in today’s hectic world? And what if it’s asking too much to want it all? I love to read. Repeat. I love to read, so when I start getting notifications that I'm pre-approved to read and review new titles, I am super excited. Like Belle in Beauty and the Beast when she sees his library for the first time and he tells her she can read anything she wants. Yes. Like that.
I am so glad I found Netgalley because there are so many wonderful authors out there that I probably would have skipped over in lieu of a favorite author or genre. And now I am even more grateful that I'm getting pre-approved for titles, yes, please, send me more books! Geek girl Elle Wittimer lives and breathes Starfield, the classic sci-fi series she grew up watching with her late father. So when she sees a cosplay contest for a new Starfield movie, she has to enter. The prize? An invitation to the ExcelsiCon Cosplay Ball, and a meet-and-greet with the actor slated to play Federation Prince Carmindor in the reboot. With savings from her gig at the Magic Pumpkin food truck (and her dad’s old costume), Elle’s determined to win…unless her stepsisters get there first.
Teen actor Darien Freeman used to live for cons—before he was famous. Now they’re nothing but autographs and awkward meet-and-greets. Playing Carmindor is all he’s ever wanted, but Starfield fandom has written him off as just another dumb heartthrob. As ExcelsiCon draws near, Darien feels more and more like a fake—until he meets a girl who shows him otherwise. But when she disappears at midnight, will he ever be able to find her again? Part romance, part love letter to nerd culture, and all totally adorbs, Geekerella is a fairy tale for anyone who believes in the magic of fandom. |
